       People work hard in the early spring to compete for the day and night. On the morning of February 21, Foshan Graphene New Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Graphene") electrified and ignited the graphitization production line of Lanzhou base, announcing the official production of the company's cathode material project, opening a new situation for the company to make a good start in 2023.

       Graphene Lanzhou Base, located in Lanzhou New Area, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, was established in April 2022. The Lanzhou base "has an annual output of 5000 tons of carbon nanotube powder, 30000 tons of carbon nanotube slurry (including related industrial chain support) and 150000 tons of silicon carbon and graphite anode materials and graphitization processing and production projects", with a total investment of 6 billion yuan and an area of 1870 mu. After the completion of the projects, it will promote the company's new development in the anode material business.

       The project is planned once and constructed by stages. The first 25000 tons of graphitization production line will be constructed in July 2022. Due to the tight schedule and heavy tasks, in order to ensure that the project is completed and put into operation on schedule, the project team and the construction unit worked together to overcome the difficulties of epidemic control and continuous low temperature in winter in the north, mobilize resources from all parties, work overtime, and ensure the smooth production of the production line.

       The Graphene Lanzhou base project is a major strategic layout of Dowstone Technology in the development of carbon materials industry. It can give full play to the collaborative advantages of silicon carbon anode and single-wall carbon nanotubes, realize the integration of carbon materials products, and expand the development space of carbon materials.

       Silicon carbon anode solves the difficulties of low energy density and high energy consumption of traditional anode materials. Single-walled carbon nanotubes are conducive to the stability of silicon carbon structure, thus improving the cycle life of the battery. The company can provide customers with an overall solution from material to application by mastering two core technologies and applying silicon carbon anode in different battery types (cylinder, soft bag, square) and systems (ternary, LFP, LCO), which will enable the company to gain a leading edge in the competition of anode materials, thus leading the development of the anode material industry and forming a new performance growth point of the company.


     

       The completion and operation of the graphitization production line of Graphene Lanzhou Base opened a new chapter of the company's development in the field of negative materials, marking another key step in the company's promotion of the integrated in-depth layout of "upstream ore smelting business, to nickel resources, cobalt resources, lithium carbonate business, positive material business, negative material business, conductive material business, and then to battery recycling business", It is steadily moving towards the goal of "lithium battery material overall solution provider", and actively contributing to the development of new energy and new materials industry in China and the world.
